FROM THE BEGINNING

Quinn Transport is a family run business set up in 1970 by Tony Quinn. In 2024 Tony’s son Mark took on the role as Managing Director.We have a 15,000 sq ft Transport Hub and 5,000 sq ft Warehouse facility and are centrally located in Blyry Business Park, Athlone just off the M6 Dublin to Galway Motorway.

We specialise in a range of transport services including Home deliveries, Retail Deliveries, Cash on Delivery, Pallet Distribution, Full Loads, Refrigerated Transport and Boat Transport. We cover Nationwide daily and also the UK through The Pallet Network. We deliver everything from parcels into offices to 40ft Boats to the south of Spain. We currently deal with up to 500 pallets per day operating 2 vans, 12 rigid trucks, 20 articulated trucks and 45 trailers daily. All vehicles are fitted with the latest GPS tracking systems.

Being a member of The Pallet Network since 2008, the number 1 freight distribution service for palletised goods in Ireland and the U.K., and the only network in Ireland and the UK that has achieved ISO9001:2008, links us to 22 other regional haulage companies throughout Ireland and over 80 in the UK. This enables us to organise collection and delivery of palletised freight and cartons/parcels on a 24hr nationwide service and 48hr UK service. In The Pallet Network all the haulage companies operate to standard procedures set out by TPN and performances are measured so that a high standard is set to give you the highest quality service. We also operate a track and trace system, with barcodes and individual parcel and pallet numbers assigned to all goods, so that we can track each parcel and pallet.
